AI Readiness Assessment

AI governance readiness assessment: international nonprofit with sites in several countries

They needed an honest answer to a harder question than most nonprofits ask. Beyond "how do we use AI," they wanted to know how ready they were for AI that acts on its own and makes decisions without a human checking every step. Most governance frameworks in the sector never touch that.

I ran a full readiness assessment in partnership with a policy specialist, covering authority boundaries, human-in-the-loop protocols, data readiness, and risk across every site. Every AI tool they used got mapped, and all of their sites now work from one data security standard.

The result was a scored Baseline Assessment Report: a concrete starting point, a clear-eyed view of where their governance still needs to mature, and a roadmap for closing the gaps.

AI Data Analysis

Member survey analysis: international membership nonprofit

The survey went to the full membership and 900+ people wrote back. One question sat underneath all of those responses: what do users need next? Raw results don't answer that on their own. The value is in the patterns underneath.

Before analyzing anything, I fixed the survey itself: conditional-logic conflicts and skip-logic issues that could have skewed the responses. Then a five-phase analysis, cleaning and coding, theme extraction, and prioritized recommendations instead of a wall of percentages.

The Findings Report turned 900+ raw responses into decisions: what users wanted, ranked by evidence. The analysis took two weeks, and the team was already using the findings while they were still updating their website.

The Follow-Up Fix · From my own inbox

The proposal that almost went quiet

This one comes from my own business. On June 9 I sent a proposal to an international membership nonprofit. Then I heard nothing. On June 22 I followed up, and the yes came back the same day. The contract sat unsigned after that, so I nudged again, and the deposit came in that Thursday.

They cared about the project. They were just buried. Your customers are the same way after you send a quote, and that gap is what the Follow-Up Fix closes.

I learned this pattern in fundraising. You have coffee with a donor. Later you ask, "Our veteran office needs couches. Can I put you down for some of that $1,000?" Then it's "come see the room," and after that, "we need someone handy on Saturday." Each touch sets up the next gift. For a small business, the same ladder is the first job, the check-in, and the referral.

The Follow-Up Fix sets up those touches for you, written once in your voice and sent from the tools you already use. Live in 7 days, with two weeks of tweaks after launch.

Your turn.

Small business or nonprofit, there is a starting point built for you.
